Shroom Energy, founded in 1967 by Toadsworth in Rogueport, United Mushroom Kingdom. Started business with providing batteries throughout Rogueport, then in 1971, Toadsworth brought Bowser Oil then merged them. The CEO and founder of Bowser Oil, Gay Bowser, was furious about this saying that he did a hostile takeover and then began the Shroom Energy V. Gay Bowser Lawsuit in which Shroom Energy won entirely and Gay Bowser left out of the oil industry.

Shroom Energy now produces 90% of electric, gasses and oil in the United Mushroom Kingdom with non-renewable energy. This has been controversial for many reasons especially with the fact this does cause global warming. Among many other controversies such as the Toadsworth Crack Crisis, poor riot control and many other issues that root deep within Shroom Energy and it's founder.

Controversies range from causing massive harm to the general population with drug epidemics to lower property costs around a specific area or being anti-competitive with connections within the government to prevent other energy companies from forming.

The first controversy or situation Shroom Energy found themselves in, is that they tried to steal Alexei Fromsovietunion's 6x Multiprocessing but Shroom Energy quickly figured out that 6 Core CPUs did not exist yet. So instead of patenting and putting it under a expensive license, they did nothing and lost their copy.

The second controversy is when Shroom Energy merged with Bowser Oil and shutter the company down after a hostile takeover. The founder of Bowser Oil, Gay Bowser, attempted to sue Toadsworth and his company, the court ruled in favor of Toadsworth and the case was open and shut. Bowser for years has spoken against the Shroom Energy corporation and Shroom Energy on multiple attempts, tried to assassinate Bowser to silence him with what he knows about Shroom Energy and it's founder.

The most recent controversy to come out against the Shroom Energy corporation is the Crack Crisis, in which the Mushroom Intelligence Agency and Toadsworth, caused a drug epidemic around the North Mushroomtopia with crack. This caused property around the area of North Mushroomtopia to lower in price and all the medical supplies in the area to sky-rocket in prices. leading to many deaths in the area from overdoses and crime. At the same time, a riot was happening at Shroom Energy's compound at Rogueport, in which the riot control fatally wounded 3 protestors and injured many others.
