-thriller is an album released by Negative Michael Jackson in 2891. It is well known for being the only album in the world with a negative runtime, being the first and so far only album to make use of the phenomenon of negative music; all humans are born with knowledge of the album's songs, and once heard, the listener will begin to gradually forget aspects of the music until, after enough listens, no details of it are remembered. This is in opposition to regular music, where only a small number of people are aware of it at birth, and everybody else must listen to it a number of times to memorise it.

Controversies

Due to the album's content being embedded in everybody's minds from birth, people who do not enjoy it must either purchase or pirate a copy, and listen to it enough times to remove it from their minds. This has been deemed by many as the ultimate capitalistic trick to force more people to buy the album than if it was made with regular music.

Imitations

Due to being the world's most listened-to album, there have been many attempts to recreate -thriller's greatness. In 1982, after receiving a copy through an accidental occurrence of time travel, Michael Jackson became the only person of the time period with innate knowledge of the songs within. This caused him to release a copy album called Thriller, made with regular music, which would go on to sell at least five copies and earning him worldwide recognition. Due to -thriller's properties, anybody listening to it to compare the two albums would simply forget it existed, which is why this blatant copyright violation has gone unpunished.
