Background
His character, Homer Gayson, was first showcased in the pilot of ‘The Gaysons’ back in 2023 as part of an independent online cartoon series. ‘The Gaysons’ soon got quite popular online due to its quirky depiction of queer culture and its bright and lively take on suburban life. Just like his inspiration, Homer Gayson lives in the fictional town of Rainfield, and he is employed at its local Pride Power Plant. Unlike his inspirational character, however, he has two favorite foods—rainbow cupcakes and glitter cocktails, instead of doughnuts and beer, respectively.
