DarkRP
a DarkRP server is in the works at the Nightwatch Syndicate factories. let's move on to okayxairen's overview of it.
"THE GIST IS: A GMod DarkRP server that's only online while I'm streaming it (likely for 5-6 hours at a time), each "Day" would function as an event where people can progress storylines and gain alliances (OR ENEMIES..) and we'd see how much society can progress over the course of a month or so. It would be fairly light, with access to sandbox tools and various other silly addons, so don't worry too much about keeping up the immersion (However roleplaying as a character apart from yourself would be encouraged! You can also just change to playing a different character if you get bored) I would also encourage anyone who's interested to stream/record their own perspective, as I don't expect all the events to happen around me, and I like the idea that things are going on in the background (and I may edit your footage into a supercut at the end of the whole event)"

#god-for-a-day, formerly #king-for-a-day is a channel in the Nightwatch Syndicate server where one random user of the server gets complete and utter control of one channel in the server.
controversy
the channel used to be named #king-for-a-day, in reference to SilvaGunner's King For A Day Tournament, but a user pointed out it is not a very gender neutral, so it was renamed to #god-for-a-day.
